Swans In Flight have begun to demo a new song in the studio intended as the band’s debut single release. Expected release date is set for early spring 2010.
“Following the release of the Mark Tucker produced, ‘acoustic album’, we have been concentrating on developing the live show. Since the inception of new drummer, Dave Ashcroft, we’re very comfortable with the live line-up. It has lots of energy and the live set is working well with plenty of contrasts and dynamics in play,” states Hugo Montgomery-Swan, frontman and singer with the band. “Now however, we really feel the time is right to turn our attention to targeting radio play. In this sense, ‘I See You, You See Me’, is shaping up to be a great riff based track, that when first worked on by the band, really stood out as being special.” Work on the new number is set for completion within the next 8 weeks or so and is to be recorded at Oyster House Studios in Devon.
